A Doggie day at the river

Well today was surprisingly amazing. What more can I ask for 80 degree weather, well 77 but close enough, 6 dogs, a cool river and family time? I spent the whole day at my parents out on the river visiting and doing laundry. Jasmine got the best part of the deal though, a full day of fun and swimming with her favorite "siblings".

Her day started with an hour of ball time! With 6 dogs, it takes a while to get them all their ball time and semi-warn out. Jasmine as you can see needs more mouth, ball co-ordination ;P

Then since everyone was nice and warm we walked a little ways down the driveway to the river. Jasmine thinking she's a Labrador dove right in.

Then when "grandma" found a stick it was time for fetch time! As you can see the Shorted-Brains LOVE to play fetch! Jasmine on the other hand would rather be digging up rocks, which on this beach there is definately no shortage of them.

Hmm seem's rocks no longer held her intrest so off to chase the Shorted-brains.

These boys are ALWAYS together, what else would you expect their brothers.
*I do love how when they bring back a stick they're always striding in unison.

This one especially was HERS and NO ONE was going to steal it from her.

Thankfully the shorthairs don't care about silly rocks, mainly because they sink and they can't be retrieved.

And this is what the Princess said when it was time to go home for the day. Bratty lil girl ;)

Now my stinky, muddy, sandy dog is sleeping on her bed, passed out from her days adventures. Too bad it's raining now otherwise tomorrow would have brought another day of swimming.
